Jones, Semling lead Peformance Office Papers to win.

Edina, MN - In search of their first win of the season, Performance Office Papers seized the opportunity and cruised to a 7-3 win over Trash Panda.  The work of Hannah Jones (Blake) 3a, June Semling (CP/CR), 2g, and Mia Sutch (Cen/SLP) 1g-1a were too much for POP to handle on Tuesday night at Braemar Arena.  

Madeline Wolter (Cen/SLP got things going for Trash Panda with an early goal with a terrific end-to-end rush and a partial breakaway goal for the 1-0 lead.  Trash Panda kept the tempo in this one and appeared to be settling in, playing at their pace and tempo.  That showed well as they snatched the 2-0 lead.  

Semling scored her first of the game and Allie DeFauw (HFC) put POP up with a 2-1 lead.  DeFauw’s goal came in the greasy area.  Sydney Burnevik (CP/CR) was not about to be outdone as she found the puck off the wall and raced up the left wing to tie the game at 2.  

The second half belonged to POP as they outscored Trash Panda 5-1 and found their comfort zone in a well rounded game.  Each team is tied at 1-2 and have 3 points on the season just 3 points off the lead and a game in hand.
